Pet care experience
I have always been an animal person, so much so that my parents got me my first dog when I was 10. I am a go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family and am a long time volunteer at the local dog shelter where I have received training on proper walking techniques, reading pup demeanor, and how to redirect behaviors if necessary.

Miranda took great care of Zeus while we were in Idaho. We wanted to do some national park hiking that didn’t allow dogs and we felt at ease knowing Zeus was in good hands. We got pictures with updates on how Zeus was feeling and what she was up to which was great.
Miranda is the best dog walker and sitter we have had. Our dogs love her. She is professional, trustworthy and great with animals. I highly recommend her.

I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog that can be a playmate if your dog enjoys socializing. I am a jogger and can take energetic dogs on longer or more fast-paced runs if thats what they need. I live right near a park for lots of sniffs and a good walking environment as well.

All types of dogs are welcome! I would love to know if your pup has any sensitivities, favorite or least favorite places to be scratched, how they do with other dogs while on walks, and anything else that I should know to give the best care and genuine love to your dog.
A typical day
I live in the north end of Boise and can take dogs on walks through the neighborhood, through nearby Elm Grove or Camels Back parks or even in the foothills if they're up for it! I have a fenced in yard so we can play catch or lounge near our small pond in the shade.

Availability
I am a recent college graduate home for the summer before I start my first post-grad job in the fall. Thus I do not have a formal job to work around although there are two weeks where I will be shadowing professionals in my field so feel free to contact me for dates! I am very flexible. I have a well behaved pup of my own at home, however, if your dog is not social there are enough spaces in the house where they could stay entirely separate. I am available to walk dogs everyday this summer! At least in the morning and evening.
