Pet care experience
I have availability Tues - Thurs for 30 minute and 1 hour walks or drop-ins! Not currently taking on new overnight clients. Weekends are unavailable due to a separate full time job. I've always loved animals, I grew up with cats and dogs and have lived with Rottweilers, Yorkies, Pits, and Shih tzus among others. I have experience with all types and sizes of dogs ranging from puppies to seniors. I'm especially fond of cats! I helped rescue and foster two special needs kittens over the summer of 2020 and have experience with senior cats as well. I'm also good with out of the ordinary pets like rats, reptiles, and tarantulas. I'm always happy to send photos and video of your pets while I'm taking care of them and I have an Instagram page where I post photos and videos of the pets I care for @_spooky_sitting

I like to meet with my clients in advance of when I will actually be sitting so that I can meet the animals in an environment that feels safe to them and the client. I prefer to go over all of the animals needs/preferences/behaviors and write them down so that I have it available as a reference.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs (food, medications, vision/hearing/mobility problems, incontinence, etc), triggers, favorite toys, etc. I've taken care of cats and dogs with eye issues requiring drops and ointments and feel comfortable applying them. If your pet has any type of special needs I'd like to watch how you administer their treatments so that I can do it in the way that they're most accustomed to already.
A typical day
I love walking so dogs will get plenty of walks or yard play time depending on your preferences! If they are friendly with other dogs I'd love to take them to Park Grounds! For low energy or nervous pups I'm happy to play with them in their preferred environment or just snuggle! If your cats are playful I'll wear them out on playtime and if they just need attention and affection I've got plenty to spare.
