Hi dog lovers, my name is M.J. I’m a part time barista on Whidbey spending the rest of my hours loving on my pup. Born and raised around dogs since 97. At 20 years old I found my best friend Aspen. She’s a Boxer/Lab mix and she’s provided love, excitement, happiness and safety into our home. Puppy Fever>Baby Fever. We both have experience from a 24 hour Cage-Free dog boarding facility staying overnight and providing a safe haven for pups from 6am-3pm(most active hours for the pups). This job provided me skills on medications for pups, feeding schedules, dog training and dog interpersonal skills. I can handle aggressive breeds! That’s my forte! What I found successful during daycare was play time, relaxing zen music and that you have to be relaxed and chill. Keeping calm and happy was a major key for a successful active day and to avoid triggering the pups.
