Pet care experience
I live right in the town of Jackson. I have had doggies all of my life. We have a fenced in yard and doggie door and the sweetest black lab who loves friends. Your dogs will receive lots of love. We are mainly doing this because we just put our little dog down and our lab needs friends. He plays very well with all size dogs, as his late sister was a tiny Boston Terrier. If I was a dog, I'd want to be my dog. If dog is okay off of a leash, I will take them on hikes and walks. Our lab, Cletus, goes hiking or swimming daily. He's fun loving and a really good boy. He wants friends and we just like having dogs around! I am in real estate and have a lot of free time and work from home. The dogs will get lots of love and attention.

We feel so lucky to have found Mindy (and Cletus!) through Rover. This was the first time we left our 4.5 month old German Shepherd puppy in someone else's care for the day, and we weren't comfortable leaving her in a group setting with many large unfamiliar dogs. As soon as we met Mindy and Cletus, we were completely at ease. Mindy was wonderful, very communicative throughout our interactions, and clearly a dog lover who took care of Cortina as if she was her own puppy. Even better, our puppy had the greatest day playing with Cletus, who was super sweet and gentle with her despite being more than double her size. The fenced outdoor yard setup was perfect, and we really appreciated all the adorable photos and videos Mindy sent throughout the day. Our puppy did not want to come home! I could not recommend Mindy & Cletus more.
We had an unexpected change of plan while visiting Jackson and contacted Mindy to watch our 6 month-old Border Terrier puppy. Mindy responded immediately and was so accommodating and friendly. Mindy has a private, fenced yard right in Jackson, which was perfect. Her super-friendly and sweet black lab played gently with our puppy both days. They even went on a walk. It was one of the best decisions of our trip because we were so relieved that our puppy was lovingly cared for and happy while we toured the park. I highly recommend Mindy's dog-sitting service.
Mindy was great with our one year old black lab Macy! We had never left Macy before but Mindy provided pictures and communicated with us during Macy's 4 day stay with her. We were able to relax knowing that Macy was in good hands. Macy became friends with Mindy's dog Cletus and even now after getting home I will say "Where's Cletus?" and Macy will look around for Cletus. So cute. I recommend Mindy and will definitely use her the next time we are in Jackson! :) Thanks Mindy!

I'd like to know how well behaved they are and how well they get along with other dogs. Cletus loves to play and a dog who is going to be mean to him would be a deal breaker. Cletus knows to respect their space but is always down to play if the doggie is interested.
A typical day
I like to take them to Cache Creek, down south to Flat Creek or to the dike. Our walks or hikes usually involve somewhere that they can go swimming.
