I've been caring for pets my whole life, through the wonderful times and the challenging ones. Specifically related to dogs, I have had and/or cared for big dogs, small dogs, senior dogs, puppies, rescue dogs, healthy dogs, anxious dogs, dogs with illnesses, and many other kinds of dogs. My beliefs about working with pets is through using positive behavior methods. I am calm, patient, and enjoy walking and being active. I recently started my own business doing pet care after many years of being a special education teacher. This means that my schedule is flexible and I am motivated and dedicated to work with pet families to provide care. I am a very trustworthy and caring person. My love of animals is not limited to dogs. I also have a hedgehog named Iggy. For the majority of my life, I have also had a cat. While I do not have one now, it just means that it is a treat for me to drop-in on cats! I also have extensive experiences caring for other pets, such as rabbits, leopard geckos, hedgehogs, mice, guinea pigs, skinks, and others. Currently, I regularly volunteer with two animal organizations and I foster pets with one of them. **My schedule for dog walking, boarding, and doggie daycare is sometimes limited because of the amazing regular clients that I have!
