Pet care experience
Thank you for considering me to hang out with your pet! I am an animal lover with plenty of experience. I've been pet sitting for friends for years, fostered for local rescues, and have walked hundreds of dogs as a volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society. I have 18 months of experience with Rover and have received only 5-Star reviews. If you wish to board your dog with me, they will have free roam of the house (including furniture/beds unless you let me know otherwise). I can provide up to 4-5 miles of walking/jogging per day, but I am happy to host a couch potato too. I have a fully fenced yard for playtime, and dogs are never left unsupervised outside for any amount of time, even within my fence. I'm highly attentive to pets in my home and they will be treated as my own. **Note for Hurricane Season: If evacuation is required during your pet’s stay, I WILL evacuate them with me. I go to my parents’ home in the upstate and they will be welcome there at no extra charge for transportation/extended stay. **

I get nervous to leave my dogs with anyone other than family/friends, but Mindy was awesome and I felt totally comfortable knowing my dogs were in good hands with her! Would recommend her to anyone
10/10 with communicating. Made us feel very comfortable and she was able to walk both of our 50+ lb dogs at the same time. Will definitely book her again!

Pets in my home are treated as my own. I never host more than one pet at a time unless they are from the same household to avoid any socializing issues. On walks, I avoid contact with other dogs and I will only take a client to the dog park if specifically requested. At a client's home, I try my best to stick to their normal routine as much as possible.

I'd love to know in advance if your dog would prefer going on long walks or playing in the backyard. Happy to do either, whichever they enjoy most. I have no breed preferences, I love them all! I do have a lot of experience with bully breeds both through fostering and ownership. If you are concerned about finding a pittie lover - I am your girl!
A typical day
I live in central Park Circle within walking distance several parks - one of which is right next door. I love going on walks around the Circle, or to Danny Jones Rec Center to throw a tennis ball around.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to work from home or anywhere else with high speed internet. I'm very active and try to walk 5 or more miles per day around the neighborhood - high energy dogs do great at this mileage, but most dogs I drop back by the house 1-2 miles in.
