I have been a dog owner for over 30 years. Currently, we have two large golden retrievers in the home who love furry friends. We have trained puppies and cared for our last dog who lived to be 17!

Minda was friendly and quick to respond. Great location in Silverthorne. She watched our 2 year old golden while we went skiing on a Saturday. So helpful of a resource! Bailey had a great time with her two dogs and came back home happy and tired. We will definitely use her again!
Minda is a wonderful host, she took a great care of my dog and was very attentive to details. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for daycare in Silverthorne.

We have an outdoor deck that is fenced in for dogs to enjoy being outside. Every morning we walk the dogs, take a mid-day short afternoon outing and in early evening we will take the dogs to our neighborhood dog park or field to play fetch.

It is important for me to know that your pet will be comfortable around my two large golden retrievers. I dog sit for only one dog at a time because I already have two dogs. My dogs are socialized well and get along with all breeds. I would like to know ahead of time if there are any special considerations to make your pet feel comfortable. With the cold temperatures in Summit County, it is also good to know how much your dog enjoys the snow and cold weather!
A typical day
We live in a super dog friendly neighborhood with multiple trails to take our furry friends out for walks and hikes. We get out for walks at least twice a day, if not three times a day. My dogs love to play fetch so we will often find a safe open space to "play ball". Inside, we have multiple Benebones and Tug Toys.

Availability
I have a hybrid work from home schedule and my husband, Dan works from home full-time. We get up early and take at least a 30 minute walk. Our house is near many trails so we enjoy hiking with the dogs as well.
