I have experience as a handler at Sleepydog Kennel in Colchester. I'm great with all personalities and sizes! I love to bond with dogs and make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I'm very flexible and adaptable and am happy to accommodate you to the best of my ability. I work Tuesday through Thursday in Burlington and I work from home on Monday and Friday. I am home most weekends. I had a chocolate lab for 14 years and loved him to pieces, and now I have a rescue who is the light of my life, so I know just how special your dog is to you. I strive to provide the best care so that you may rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands. I'm enthusiastic and ready to tend to the needs of both you and your dog!

Mimi is the BEST. I am the most anxious dog mom to the anxious boy and Mimi is literally the only person I trust with him. Our dog is super needy, I’m talking daily meds, wicked smart (he opens doors), high-energy, with a list of charming behaviors (resource guarding🥴) and she handles him SO well. Zion loves when Mimi comes to stay with him or takes him on adventures. She always puts his comfort and safety first, which is a must for us. I am also the dog mom who leaves pages of notes and she always reads them and asks questions. Mimi also does cute report cards after her stays with Zi. It’s so comforting to know that Zion is not only well cared for while I’m away, but truly loved. I can confidently recommend her to anyone. I have almost one full acre of yard space to run and play. While not fenced, we are at the end of a very quiet dead end street with minimal car traffic. I am always outside with the dogs and I also have a lead and leash for the runaway type. Inside we have two levels to relax and play, a finished carpeted basement and a hard floor upstairs main living area. The spaces can be separated by closing a door for anyone who needs or prefers quiet time away from others. When I stay at your house, I follow your rules and preferences!

A typical day
I am walking distance to a community trail where lots of people enjoy walking dogs on leash. I also live in a low traffic neighborhood for short jaunts around the house. Our yard is big enough for a few rounds of fetch. Car rides are a fave in our house for those who like to feel the wind blow in their ears!

I work from home on Monday and Friday, and I go into my Burlington office Tuesday through Thursday, so I am mostly home throughout the week. My husband works opposite hours so there is usually always someone home for potty breaks.
