Pet care experience
Hi! I am Mimi, and I live on the corner of S. Melrose Place and Faraday St. right across from The Home Depot. I am home full time, and I am also one of the pet sitters who has undergone advanced screening that culminated in a face-to-face in-home meeting with a home inspection. I am what you call a 'dog nut'. Meaning I love them! adore them! I have two female English Labs. Story is 12 years old and Glory is 13 years old. Both of them have received Canine Good Citizen Certificates. My dogs and I go for walks several times a day and all of us would welcome another dog or two along for the stroll. I am also known for working with dogs that have issues with being shy or walking politely on a leash. Story, Glory and I cannot wait to meet our new fur guest for a fantastic sleepover. . I love senior dogs but I really enjoy any dog! I can also give injections if your pet needs them. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)! Why I love dog sitting I love dogs and I am very responsible. I often say that 'I was born into dogs'. Meaning I have been around them all my life! I will gladly walk guest dogs several times a day as well as love and play with them. I have dog beds, crates, toys and anything else a pup can dream of! I am that thrilled to have dogs in my life and my home. About my yard I have a great fenced in yard but I really love taking my dogs for a walk several times a day. The three of us would love to have your dog(s) accompany us! My experience administering medication I will gladly make sure that your beloved pup receives the correct dosage of oral medication or injections at the proper time. You can count on me to follow your instructions exactly!

Mimi has looked after our dog, Lexi, on 5 different occasions ranging from one week to six weeks. Lexi loves going to Mimi's and we feel very relaxed and confident that Lexi is being well cared for. Mimi loves our dog like she is one of her own, she takes her for daily walks and she has a good sized back yard for Lexi to run around in. Mimi won't look after aggressive dogs which puts our mind at ease know that Lexi will never feel unsafe. Mimi has two dogs of her own which are very well behaved and Lexi loves hanging out with them. I would recommend Mimi to anyone.
I have taken my golden retriever Sky to Mimi for regular daycare and boarding over the last year and her house has become a second home for him. I never have to worry when Sky is there because I know that he is taken well care of. Mimi is selective of the dogs who stay with her. Many are older and smaller so she doesn't agree to take in any agressive dogs. Sky is gentle so he always gets along with the other dogs. Mimi stays with the dogs nearly every hour of the day which means Sky gets a lot of fetching in which is his favorite thing to do. It's very comforting when I have to leave him for days because he's jumping for joy when we arrive. Mimi always sends me pics so I know he's having fun.
My dog has separation anxiety and Mimi was so loving and patient with her on her first stay. She sent me updates and photos during the day. Mimi is a true animal lover, she knows a lot about dogs and gave me some great tips on managing my girl's anxiety. Thank you Mimi!
My dog and I both love Mimi! She is amazingly aware of each individual dog's personality and needs. You can easily see that she loves animals.
