My name is Mimi and I am 20 years old. I am in AmeriCorps NCCC where I travel and help out in disaster struck communities. While serving I volunteered at several wildlife sanctuaries and help care after numerous animals. Also In the late summer, I'll be moving to Jacksonville, FL to start City Year, another branch of AmeriCorps where I'll be teaching children and lowering drop out rates in high risk communities. During disaster relief in AmeriCorps NCCC, I found myself getting stressed out and what better way to relax then having a furry friend to play with. I have had many animals in the past, but previously with me traveling I haven't had time with my own dog “lady”, so this would be a great way to make up for the time I went without some lovin. I am looking forward to meeting you and your four legged friends.

I've lived with her for ten months straight, seen every good and bad side and she's easily one of the most responsible people I've met. Being a flake is one of her pet peeves and as a perfectionist who genuinely cares about animals, she will do her utmost to take care of them not just for the cash, but because she truly cares. She's also very kind and raised to be respectful. I know she grew up watching over her siblings, who at times were considerably more difficult than a bunny can ever be. I'd trust her with my children any day of the week, including my dear pets.
