We have a dog, Biscuit, a black lab mix and one tortoise shell cat. They basically only speak in passing! We have wanted a friend for Biscuit and find this is a great way for him to have sleepover buddies. He is very spoiled, and we would do the same with yours. (Based on your instructions, of course). Time is spent inside, or outside, depending on Biscuit and his guest. Play time outside will be supervised with your pet. We have a number of acres to romp, with lots of places to safely investigate. We will treat yours as ours. We are both retired, and enjoy having the opportunity to be at home, so we are not away more than 3-4 hours at a time, also based on your wishes. Growing up we both had pets that were part of our family. Since we have been married, we have had a dog and/or at least one cat - all in house dwellers. We are new to Rover and at this point have only one sitting experience to share. A little dachshund named Penny stayed with us over a 4 1/2 month period while her parents were away. We loved her like our own, and made sure she was cared for based on her ‘parents’ instructions. We would care for yours in the same way. We are both retired, usually at home, however, if out and about, we are gone usually no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. We make sure plenty of time is available for walks, play outside and the essential potty breaks. We live outside of a town, on 13 acres, with lots of yard and plenty of nice walking trails. Though we do not have a fenced area, we would take special care to make sure we are with your pets outside at all times. Our home is pet friendly, with one dog and one cat. They are allowed on the furniture and will be spoiled as if they are our own. Feeding times will be at the pleasure of the owners. Our dog, Biscuit, who is part lab, would love to make new friends.
