As long as I can remember I’ve been an animal lover and have always had a dog or two around me. Growing up with pups influenced me so much that I chose a second career in dog walking and pet sitting, and have never looked back! I find that walking dogs is extremely therapeutic and genuinely enjoy those parts of my day. You can really never have a bad day hanging out with dogs—they are always there to greet you with wagging tails and sloppy kisses! I take my position as a pet professional seriously and recently took it to the next level by studying several dog training courses through the local shelter and PetSmart. Not only am I a dog lover, now I have the tools to care for them in the way that they deserve. And I have never met a dog that doesn’t love me—I believe that dogs can sense a person’s intention and they are clued into how much love and respect I have for them. I might even bring a treat or two along in case they are nervous and need some extra proof I’m a friend! I connect with dogs by sitting down in front of them, getting on their level and letting them sniff me. I never force them to interact with me until they are ready, and find that it usually doesn’t take too long before we are fast friends. Being responsive and proactive is built into my customer service experience. I provide my clients with photo and video updates and make sure I tend to every need their dog has. TLC pretty much sums up my care philosophy and what more could you want in a top notch pet sitter! All dogs deserve TLC and I will do everything in my power to make sure they are happy and healthy while you are away. Dog walking is my chosen career, which means my schedule is pretty flexible and ready to shape to yours. I can’t wait to meet you!
