I've been a pet owner for 30 years. I believe that like us, dogs and cats really appreciate a routine. I think as a basic need, they should be fed and walked at least twice a day routinely. Most of the time we are the only ones they've got for their entire lifespan and they deserve the best possible love and life. It's so important to give them attention and play with them. I work from home and teach yoga from my home part-time. I will give them undivided attention because I'm always at home or walking dogs! Give me a try, you and your dog will be happy you did. Since my backyard is not fenced, I would prefer house trained, indoor dogs. I would also recommend that owners bring a crate for safety reasons.
