About Chase

From the moment we got Chase we knew for sure that he was definitely a lover, not a fighter. We call him a born again hippie, because he’s just so chill and laid back. He’s loves people, getting attention is his hobby. He’s goofy, gets along with other dogs great, and is up to any kind of adventure. We didn’t plan on getting another big dog after the passing of our German Shepard, Toby, and Boston/Silky Terrier Mix, Timmy, but Chase brings laughter, smiles, comfort, and love to the family that we didn’t know we where missing.

About Charlie

Charlie, as stated from above, was bought from a breeder about 1 1/2 months after we got Chase. When we got him it was doing a rough snow storm, so he wasn’t introduced to people and other dogs much in the first stages of him growing. He’s good with others though, as long as he meets you first in his home. Charlie suffered from high anxiety, and ADHD. So he’s constantly on the move to play fetch or go on walks/runs. He LOVES being able to put just his head out the window of a car and go full speed down the street. All he really wants his love and attention from those who are willing to give it to him.

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 3 years, 9 mo. old
  • Weight: 107 lbs
  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog
  • Tracking Chip: No

  • House Trained: Yes
  • Gets along with children: Yes
Because of Charlie’s anxiety, he will get overly excited, but freaked. Once it comes to new people and children. He will begin to do a high pitched wine, but it’s not a cry he just can’t control his excitement. We are currently working on it.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Charlie is a very protective dog, but also very anxiety filled. Therefore, when meeting another dog he needs to be introduced to the other dog at my house during a meet and greet.
  • Gets along with cats: Yes

Special Requirements

Since Chase was a rescue dog, all his life he has been a people person. Charlie, on the other hand, we bought from a breeder. When it comes to giving each dog attention, you will notice that Chase easily gets jealous and tries to but in right away. Please, don’t be afraid to boot Chase away. Charlie needs the one on one attention, because Chase is always stealing it away from him. Charlie just wants to be loved too.
