Do you want your dog to be taken care of by someone who has a passion to work with animals, puts animals first in all situations, and will make sure to love your dog to the fullest? Well, i'm your girl! I believe that animals, but dogs especially, were put on this planet to show that there is still good in all of the bad. They are so innocent and special that one day I plan to somehow make a difference with animals and help them in any way possible, so why not start here! I will take care of your dog and truly fall in love with them. Dogs help my spirit and make me enjoy life no matter how big or small I love them all.

Mikenzie is amazing! She is so sweet with our elderly dog, & he adores her. She cared for him for nearly 3 weeks while I was out of the country, & when I returned she had even cleaned the house & bathed my dog. Mikenzie is definitely a keeper!
Mikenzie did a great job with my pup! She was able to help me on a last minute booking and sent me super cute pics of my dog Mylah, just hanging out or on hikes, while I was away. Both myself and Mylah were very happy about her stay and I would definitely recommend booking with Mikenzie as I will likely do again in the future

I care for dogs like they are my own. Vato has been my best friend for 7 years now and has taught me patience, kindness, and understanding. If your pup gets nervous or gets into things. It's not a big deal to me. My main focus is to make sure the dogs I have with me are having a good time. Being away from their moms or dad's can be stressful, so when with me, we try to just have fun, go on adventures, and end the days with lots of cuddles!

I like to know if they are leash trained? Off leash trained? If they are okay to be free in a house or kenneled? If there's anything to avoid, like noise, or certain things to make their stay as fun as possible? And if they are okay to have lots of treats or only a few? I like to spoil them after a nice long hike!
A typical day
A typical day will depend on if I have a class or a session for one of my clients. Either way, your dog won't be left alone for more than 4 hours and I always go on hikes either before or after class for about 6-8 miles. If they can't make it that far, we will go 4 miles but I love hiking with dogs because they get to go explore and be themselves for at least 2 hours of the day. We all need that so I belive my dogs do as well!

Availability
I am a FT student for one more quarter, so currently Monday-Friday, I am away for about 2 hours, otherwise I am out on a 6-8 mile hike with my pups, then come home after to cuddle and work on my programs for school. I charge more for the long hikes we go on everyday. My pup, Vato, has anxiety, so I'm not gone for long periods of time otherwise he gets very upset, so when your pup stays with us, they won't be left alone long.
