I have 14 years personal experience and 8 years professional experience caring for and training dogs. During this time I have done the following: dog-sitting, boarding in my home, dog walking and hiking, service dog task training, basic and advanced obedience training, behavior modification, leading classes and private lessons, bathing/brushing/nail trims, and much more. I work with puppies under 12 weeks all the way up to senior dogs. I am comfortable administering oral medications, applying and changing diapers, assisting with a mobility harness, helping with potty training, or other accommodations that may be needed. I have a passion for and an understanding of dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities and I would love to care for yours! (Please no dogs that have ever bitten a human before or any aggression toward cats/chickens)

Mikelle has watched my dogs several times when I have had to leave on a quick trip or a planned vacation. She is very helpful and follows all my instructions precisely. I love receiving updates on my dogs, so she will send me photos to show me how they are doing. She is happy to take them on a walk if need be and happy to do any of my extra "dog mom" type things with them. She has a background in dog training/pet health, so it does make me feel better that if some issues were to occur she would be the best to know what to do. I would trust Mikelle 100% with my dogs at any time, and I highly recommend using her as a pet sitter/dog walker.
Mikelle is excellent with dogs. She is a professional dog trainer and lifelong animal lover. She has many dogs who are all well behaved and love her dearly. She even does very well with random dogs on the street.

I have a fenced yard for your pup to play in, along with friendly dogs of my own to keep them company (if your pup is friendly and you desire play with other dogs). I do also have two friendly indoor cats. Your pup will be crated in my home during the times I am unable to give them my attention. They will rotate in and out of the crate at least 4 times per day, usually more - each time with the opportunity to potty, play outside in a fenced yard, and hang out inside for extended periods of time with toys and lots of loving.

A typical day
I love enriching the minds of the dogs I work with. We will spend time playing brain games, playing at the park, going on hikes, chewing nylabones, playing with other dogs (if desired), and of course - having snacks!
