My whole life I have had dogs and cats, spent lots of my younger life on a farm, so I have always been around animals. I’m 21, finishing college and working from home. No kids or other dogs but I do have three cats so cat friendly dogs and if they’re not cat friendly that’s okay! I can separate them from the main part of the house! I currently have plenty of free time where I’d love to help take care of your pet! I’ve dog sat all throughout High School and the past few years, so about 8 years of sitting other people’s cats and dogs. Besides that, my family has always had pets. I used to volunteer at my local cat shelter. And, I helped one of my client take care of her senior dog for three years. Plenty of hands on experience and a very large love for all animals! :)

I have a fenced in back yard, although it’s not very large, plenty of room to go potty for doggies though. No children, just my husband and I so plenty of room for animals to roam without having to worry about children or other pets! I don’t mind animals on the couch either. I am very good about playing with animals and have no problem with frequent walks or potty breaks outside.

Information Mikella P. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know if your pet is allergic to anything, has any special needs or quirks, and if they have a routine of any kind. I always want animals to feel safe and happy so anything about their daily life is very important to me. I have no problem taking care of special needs animals, just know I am in no way trained, I only have my own experiences to go off of. That being said, I’m always willing to learn what works best for your pet! Please also let me know if there’s any training you’re working on or habits you’re trying to break so that when they’re around me I continue what foundation you’ve laid down.
A typical day
If it’s a high energy animal, I’m very high energy so I’ll play until one of us is tired! But I also love, love, love cuddly animals- I have no problem if I’m sitting for a Velcro dog or cat. I’m also pretty active so walking a dog is basically just regular cardio I do every day anyways.

I’m currently available most days, although I do work mostly on Fridays and Thursdays- I only work to about 1-2pm on those days so if an animal is left alone it’ll only be from 930am-1/2pm
