Pet care experience
Being a pet owner myself I know the worry that can creep into your mind while at work thinking about you four-legged family member. Let me help alleviate that worry. I also offer text updates and photos. My background as professional photographer allows me to capture photos of you pet sent to you and the option to purchase high res digital files or printed products ready to hang on your wall. I am a dog lover at heart and have had pets all my live. In addition to my Shepard mix dog, Ruby, I have four fire belly toads and three pac man frogs. If you have an exotic pet I am also happy to check in on them as well. Currently I am only available on the weekends, but they may change soon. My dog Ruby is good with most dogs but would definitely have to meet off leash on neutral ground if I were to have you pet in my home. Dogs are allowed on the couch and bed at my home. Ruby stays loose when I leave my home but if watching you pet in my home I would have to insist they be crated (I have a crate) in another room away From Ruby until I return. I have a fenced in back yard and they would be supervised at all times while outside. And just a preference, I am not a fan or retractable leashes and may use one of my own leashes while on walks. Reviews
Mike is our go-to first line of defense anytime our critters need care. It helps that we know he's an animal lover and responsible pet owner himself, and regularly see him walking his own furry girl in our neighborhood. We have an extra picky maltipoo/rat terrier wondermutt, and he's has always been super thoughtful and patient helping her eat. And if you're the paranoid type (please don't judge me...) Mike is incredibly reliable when it comes to providing frequent text updates about the wellbeing of our fur babies.
Mike is great with dogs. He has watched our dogs on numerous occasions and she has a fun time. He's also a very trustworthy person. Definitely recommend him.

Before taking you on as a client I would like to know if you dog has any issues walking on leash, like leash aggression, what commands they know, are they food motivated, how are they with children/ and or other dogs, any food allergies or sensitivities? I would also need a list of contact information and your the name of the vet you pet goes to.
A typical day
While caring for your dog you can expect walks through the neighborhood and nearby parks. Playing fetch in your fenced yard (if available) and engaging your dog in playful fun. I am happy to brush you dog if supplied with equipment and will pick up after your dog if they relieve themselves. I always carry poop bags.
