Hi Pet Parents! My name is Mike. I am currently a dog loving student in the process of becoming a physical therapist. Luckily, I live 5 blocks from my school and your furry child will never be alone for more than 3 hours at a time. I have my own fluff ball that will be able to keep them company in short period of time. I live a short distance from Fort Greene Park and the Cadman Plaza Park-- Peppermint and I go there regularly to stretch out her little legs and your dog will definitely be joining us, if you so please. I normally take Peppermint out for walks at least 4 times a day, so exercise will not be a problem when your dog is in my care. While you are away, I promise to love and care for your dog as if it were my own child. Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover my entire life. I grew up with Shelties, and recently adopted an adorable mutt (Peppermint). I am trying to make a little extra money doing something I love while I am in grad school. Meet my pets: I have a young Poodle/Dachshund/Chihuahua/French Bulldog mix named Peppermint. She is friendly and playful but can be a little shy at first, so I would like all dogs to meet her before their stay. About my yard I do not have a back yard, but am very close to multiple parks and dog parks. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medication.

Mike was awesome!! He took such good care of Percy (our dog) -- we received multiple updates while we were away and Percy was obviously having a good time and well looked after. Percy will be back again!
Mike is AWESOME! Both Lucca (3 yrs) and Rome (8 mos) absolutely loved staying with Mike while we were out of the country for a week. As this was the first time leaving our young pup, we were a bit nervous at how he would do. Mike totally eased our minds with daily updates and photos (and a video!). Rome is apparently high energy when he stays with new friends, but Mike never once made us feel as if it was a problem (even though I'm sure he was not easy to manage!). This meant so much to us! Both pups came home and slept for almost two days straight, clearly exhausted from all the fun they had and attention they received. We would recommend Mike to anyone, anytime, anywhere! He really went above and beyond.
Mike was great! Bambola fell in love with Mike at first sight, I could totally tell ;-). She spend two weeks with him, while we escaped the snowy NY winter for a while! Mike kept her entertained and happy with lots of attention, treats and toys and even took her for runs in this miserable weather! He kept us updated on how she was doing and with a picture of the day everyday, which made us be able to enjoy our vacation even more! Knowing that she was in such a dog loving household! I will definitely recommend Mike, he is a very loving, caring and responsible dog sitter, if he is available the next time we travel I will definitely try to rebook him - it's not that easy to find someone you trust for your pup!
I highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for an amazing companion for their dog. We have used Mike's services and are extremely happy with the fun loving care he provides for our dog Fiona. He is very attentive and really takes the time to play and interact with her and even leaves a doggie scavenger hunt to keep her busy if he leaves before we arrive home. Fiona absolutely adores Mike and gets so excited every time she sees him.

Here's where we'll take our walks: I have multiple parks within a very short distance of my apartment. Most walks involve going to at least one of them. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Your dog has their pick of location in my apartment. I have multiple dog beds for small/medium dogs, they can sleep on either of my couches, or if they want they can sleep on my bed. Time I'll spend with your dog: My schedule is very flexible right now. I have class 4 days a week, but have at least an hour to 2 hours off between my morning and afternoon classes to come take your loved one for a walk and show them attention. I am normally home doing work from the late afternoon on, which involves MANY breaks to play.
