Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs all of my life, but I am now looking to make it a bit more professional. As a Behavior Specialist for children, I've learned that my skills translate well into the dog world. I've learned to speak a few different dog languages. I "get dogs" and they "get me". I have a few beautiful fenced-in acres outside city limits in a quiet and lush holler. I share it with my wife who is an approved Rover sitter (https://www.rover.com/sit/lululuvsdogs) as well our two amazing 55lb. senior dogs, Emma and Baxter, and Hopper, our Foster Fail, who is a sweet blind 18 pound terrier mix. We make our home a stress-free and loving space so all creatures will be comfortable and super exhausted at the end of the day! When you pick them up they will of course be excited to see you, but sad to leave!

The level of care and energy and genuine love poured into our girls during their stay is like nothing we’ve ever encountered with any past boarding experience. Mike and his wife Lulu (also an approved Rover sitter) have raised the bar when it comes to high quality, individualized care. They have the most amazing space and land. We didn’t have to bring ANYTHING but their food. They’ve got it all. Our girls looked SO PUMPED and they were SMILING in every photo they shared with us. We’ll never use anyone else. Don’t think twice- book Mike and Lulu. They are THE BEST ❤️❤️.
Mike has loved and cared for dogs his entire life. They trust him because he is a reassuring, warm person and they sense his sincerity and his desire to interact with them. Mike is responsible and has always provided excellent care for his pets. Having known him for years I can comfortably recommend Mike as a dog sitter and trust him completely when it comes to dogs (and people)!
I know Mike for over ten years. He is a caring and compassionate man and somewhat of a pet whisperer. He and his wife live in a large pet friendly home on four acres with a huge fenced back yard. Mike and his two senior pups welcomed my beagle Tabitha for a few day’s stay over. Tabitha happily joined the pack and was intrigued by the chicken coop and guinea hens. She especially enjoyed the expansive fenced backyard to run around. Tabitha is a big cuddler and Mike and his dogs welcomed her to the group at rest time and during the overnights. I am so lucky to have Mike available to care for my dog. He makes my time away stress free for me and Tabitha. I recommend his services to anyone in need of a pet whisperer.
