Pets have always been a part of my personal life. I’ve also taken care of friends and neighbors pets over the years. I’ve had my current 17-year-old dachshund his entire life so I have a genuine care for senior dogs.

I want to echo all the other reviews, because I can’t say enough good things about Mike and the way he cared for our dog when we were gone for 10 days - I was afraid our dog would never come home!! 😂 He constantly sent videos and pictures while we were away, which made me feel like he was in such good hands. Mike is the absolute best! And we already have him booked to care for our dog on our next trip in a few months.
Mike was great! Our dog was so relaxed when she came home, compared to her usual anxiety after boarding situations. He sent lots of high quality photos of our dog, and we knew she was in great hands. I hope that he’s available next time we need a dog sitter.

I have a very small fenced yard on the side of my house. I only keep one pet at a time, so your pet will have my full attention. (This is excluding my own dog) When I’m home: Dogs can be in the yard as much as they want to be. Inside, dogs have full range of the house with bedrooms closed off and are welcome on furniture When I’m away: No yard access. Inside, dogs have full range of the house with bedrooms closed off and are welcome on furniture.

Knowing a dog’s temperament and any special food/treats habit is needed. Also, if a dog is high energy I would like to know ahead of time so I can plan long walks and/or extra play time.
A typical day
I typically do a long walk in my neighborhood every morning and also one in the evening. I’ll also do random walks when needed. Between those, I have a small yard that my dog likes to roam around in. On weekends, I like to take my dog for a walk in the park or we chill on the couch.

I work Monday - Wednesday and can usually drop by my home for pop-ins and checkups. I’m always available early mornings, evenings after work, Thursday, Fridays, and weekends.
