My name is Michael L. I am a retired New Jersey State Trooper. I entered the State troopers in 1987 at 33 years old and finish 9th in a class of 82 troopers. While in the State Troopers I assisted with Crowd control which includes dogs. I also assisted in basic dog training. I have 2 owned German Shepherds when I was young, (Sargent Shepard and Brownie ) and with my wife we have owned 3 Poodles Charlie 1 Charlie 2 and Dolly Doodle. I have always have enjoyed walking and exercising with my dogs. While my wife would be the one to teach our dogs tricks ( she potty trained our 2nd Poodle Charlie to go to the bathroom outside in two days by teaching him to ring a bell with his paw. I always take my dogs with me whenever I can. This would be a great experience for me to interact with other dogs. My wife and I are considering getting a new dog and I think this experience will help us make a decision on what type we will get.
