Pet care experience
My love for animals is as long as the day. I have always had an immense love, care, and direction to make sure any pet around me is as happy and healthy as any human. Ever since being a kid with poodles as my furry best friends. Pepper was my introduction to the craftiness of dogs, but Jody was easily my best friend who would knock on the door the minute they knew I arrived home. Ever since Having just those two as a kid has taught me that there are animals who need that same in themselves. Its what drives me volunteer at animal shelters to see a wide variety of animals I can expose myself to and learn. Its what drove me to work at Petsmart which REQUIRES all employees take hands-on classes, seminars, and constant learning like a mechanic. And with all that of which I can keep going lol...long story short there are very few situations in which I am not trained to recognize, read, and react in a correct way that would make any parents of Fur babies proud, and feel safe with any animal of almost any size with me like my best friends Jody, and Pepper from so long ago.

Mike sent lots of photos and updates about the pets!
Michael is such a great dog sitter. It was my first time leaving my babygirl, and Michael was very patient and receptive of Cocoa’s needs. Cocoa is a very shy and protective dog, and doesn’t do great with strangers, but Michael made sure that Cocoa and I both felt safe and secure while we were away for a few days. He was very communicative and respectful of my place. I would surely have him sit Cocoa again anytime as she loved his company!
Mike was wonderful! My dog loved him. She’s a quirky dog and he took excellent care of her. He checked in daily with updates and photos, which was so nice. It was great to be able to travel and have peace of mind that my dog was being well cared for.
Mike is great with my dog Snickers! Snickers loves to be with him. When he smells him (Snickers is 15 years old and has a hard time seeing) he just knows he'll be going on a great, long walk. Mike is very patient with him and Snickers is very calm around him. I definitely recommend him.

I prefer to know their temperament., are they food motivated or eager to learn, how do they feel about a stranger in their domain? how do they interact when they see another dog (but WILL NOT) engage as its best for both of them. I have no particular preference as I'm just as comfortable with a pack of Chihuahua's as well as a group of German Sheppards. The only thing that i do love is a "high energy" dog because it gives us both a chance to wear ourselves out for a hard days workout.
A typical day
I LOVE to have a good friend to walk around Berkeley, Lake Merritt, and the piers of San Francisco. I'm just as active as your dog if not more because I believe a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. Sometimes it really is as simple as a walk for a good hour, sometimes the dog needs mental challenges such as puzzle for that treat they really want. I'm truly flexible in this regard, and that's where learning you, and the animal comes in extremely good use.
