Pet care experience
My wife and I board dogs in our home or I do drop in visits in your home for your dogs or cats. We only board 1 dog at a time to be sure your dog won’t have any issues with another dog. Since I am retired I can do any time of day and multiple drop in visits. We have a lifetime of experience taking care of pets and loving them has always been a priority in our lives. We currently have 1 dog, Cooper, who has never met another dog he didn’t love big or small. We believe your pets are precious and we make sure they get lots of love and feel totally at home when staying with us. My wife seldom calls them by their name because she calls them “my little angel”. They don’t seem to mind. Hope you won’t mind if we spoil them while they are with us. Our care for any pets coming into our home will always include giving them all the attention and love they deserve.

Mike took great care of our dog Maizey while we were out of town. He is clearly a dog lover and very competent with all aspects of care. He has a great set-up for big dogs including a fenced yard, a dog door and a great canine playmate, Cooper. Maizey had a great time and we will definitely be back.
Mike has watched our golden retriever Stella countless times and when it's time for her to come home she's not even that excited, because she's so well taken care of and spoiled. Your pet is your family member and if you want them taken care of like one when you're away, then you should have Mike take care of them.

Safety is very important to us so you can be assured we will do the following to keep your pet safe. • We have a large, secured fenced backyard (6 ft high) where they can freely run and play. • When out front in our care or on a walk we always keep them leashed. • We will monitor them regularly when they are playing out back and barking at squirrels to be sure they are not getting into mischief. • A feeding schedule will be followed according to proper food protocol. • The doggie door will be locked during bedtime. • We will follow any other measure that is a specific need for your pet. Pets are part of our family and are always taken care of as if they are just that. It would be our privilege if you allow us to take care of your best friend. Please be absolutely assured your pet would be happy and safe when in our care.

If your dog needs any medications, I have no problem administering it. I have had to administer meds to many dogs over the years. We would love to meet and greet your dog soon! If you prefer drop in visits in your home or have multiple dogs let me know. Since we only board 1 at a time I have had folks with more then 1 dog ask if I would do drop in visits at there home, where I feed them, give them fresh water, play with them, give meds, and make sure they are doing well. I have done anywhere from 1 to 4 visits per day.
A typical day
During a typical day we will play fetch and catch with the dogs or do fun training exercises for treats. We can also just spend time petting them and spoiling them. They get pretty much nonstop attention most of the day.

Availability
Since we are retired, my wife or I are home the majority of the time. If we do go out, we have a large doggie door (3 ft high X 17 inches wide) that allows any size dog to go in and out as much as they wish. We do enjoy long stays so we can get to know your pup really well. A minimum of 3 nights is required.
