Teacher with Summers off and time to hang out with your dog(s)! New to Rover, but have 12+ years experience with dogs, including following medication schedules and monitoring behavior. I have experience with both puppies and older dogs. There are lots of good walks in the neighborhood and plenty of space to play outside in my fenced backyard. I am active and would love to get your dog outside on walks, hikes, and/or jogs as you and your dog would like. Located off US-6 or I-70 in Lakewood/Green Mountain, I'm easily accessible to you and your dog! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Mike did great with our dogs! They stayed with him at his home for 4 nights! Lulu, our elderly dog, has eye drops and meds on a schedule and he did great keeping up with that. Our dog Cyrus does not do well with other dogs and we trusted Mike to handle situations safely if they were out on a walk etc. The pups looked happy and comfortable with Mike. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and kind dog sitter.
Mike took my pup Tejo on pretty short notice - communicating with him I felt confident and comfortable leaving Tejo for the weekend. Mike send photos and updates throughout his stay and was pretty flexible with drop off and pick up. Thanks Mike, Tejo’s looking forward to staying with you again!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. I have experience with oral medications as well as elderly dogs and puppies. I have a 4 year old daughter every other weekend that’s my biggest level of concern with dog safety.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs, go for walks, cuddle, and give dogs plenty of time to smell and explore. I can do shorter or longer walks depending on needs.

I work days as a teacher, but love after work walks and/or playtime. Active and would plan on walks/hikes if wanted otherwise play or time with your pet throughout the weekend.
