Pet care experience
I've watched dogs for many years(off and on), often staying over at homes in Monterey mainly. I also grew up with dogs, and so I always miss getting to spend time with them. I think people like that I'm a lot of fun with their pets, but also very punctual and mature. I truly treat people's pets the way I'd want them to treat mine. Pet care is perfect, because I need a flexible schedule and I typically can arrange my schedule by an hour or 2 to fit in some pet sitting if need be. I like to follow the client's instructions when I'm either sitting/walking their pet to a T. I don't smoke or anything, so that's no issue.

I always defer to the client's wishes for how to properly take care of their pet, but if anything I'm a little over protective to make sure gates are closed, etc, so the pet is very safe.

I definitely want to know of any medication or illnesses ahead of time(I know some breeds can have tremors that aren't serious, but still would like to know in advance)....and just any specific things to avoid with them(being around other dogs or anything of that nature). Also, please let me know of any unique harnesses ahead of time, so I know how to attach them properly( there are so many different kinds out there!).
A typical day
I really enjoy playing fetch, etc, with dogs(and if they're a little bigger and get a bit rough for some people, I don't mind at all) and taking them for walks. I prefer taking them where you'd like me to take them as opposed to my favorite spots or anything.

My weekly routine varies and is typically flexible, so dog sitting works perfectly for me(no cats; I'm allergic to cats). I try to keep my calendar up to date as much as possible, so clients know if I really am available or not.
