Hi my name is Mikayla! I’m a Chicago native. I work as a therapist part time and have 2 fur babies of my own (Cash,our Pittie boy and Midnight, our rambunctious cat). Therefore I know what it takes to make owners feel safe, and secure leaving their babies with pet sitters. I grew up with cats and dogs from a assortment of breeds (German shepherds, husky’s, pit bulls, Bernese mountains) and I have loved each and every one of them with their vast varieties of different needs! I look forward to loving on and spending time with your fur babies as well. whether it is going to the park and playing until exhausted or cuddling up and watching the latest episode of the Netflix show, we are obviously going to have the best time ever. Have lots of experience with low energy and high energy dogs and cats and I love each and everyone of them equally. Mikayla was great with my cats! Would definitely book again.
Mikayla was super responsive and friendly while booking. I had never used Rover before, so she was extra helpful in in the process. She was willing to meet in person first and was flexible along the way. She even was able to pivot and help us keep track of a medical issue our cat was having prior to her visits with him.
We loved having Mikayla! The dogs love her too :)
Mikayla is awesome! She’s a good, fast communicator and kept us updated throughout her drop in visits with our cats. We came home to happy cats and a tidy house as we left it.

A typical day
We will always go for long walks/adventures. Trips to the dog park are always fun if the pup is comfortable with other dogs, lots of cuddles and play time and lots of love in between! For sweet kitties, we will have so much fun playing with all of their toys and making sure to get those zoomies out!

Availability
Generally during our visits I’d like to plan to stay as close to their routine as possible. A lot of times I like to have some walking time and some off leash playtime once home the house. That way they get stimulated both physically and mentally. If I am staying overnight, my schedule for work generally differs from day today but your pet won’t be alone for longer than five hours at a time.
