Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was 7. I have been entrusted with animal care from family and friends for anything from fish, hermit crabs, geckos and mice to dogs, cats and some livestock. I have volunteered at multiple shelters and wildlife rescues as well.

Mikayla was a great caregiver to my cat while I was away. She was willing to go the extra mile to monitor his urine (he has a urinary disorder) and went back to my apartment to try to find him when he was hiding in a kitchen cabinet & couldn't initially be found. I have recommended her to others and will continue to do so :)
I have watched Mikayla work with animals for four years now, ranging all the way from little dogs to big horses and everything in between. I have taken multiple classes with her where we were instructed to care for animals outside of the scheduled class time, a few being horse classes or sheep classes that required for us to interact with and work with the animals until they were comfortable around humans, and we were then instructed to train the animals for shows. She is very patient when it comes to animals that most would consider difficult, and is willing to help make them feel comfortable until they are ready and willing to work with her. I have seen her stop what she was doing when she saw an animal that looked a little lost and I have seen her go out of her way to care for animals when they look stressed. I know that there was a time that she stayed up all night with a pregnant horse because it had given a few clues that it was going to give birth within the next 24 hours, and she was still willing to be up at the sheep barn at 6 that morning to feed the sheep that she had been assigned. I have known Mikayla for four years at this point, and I have seen her patients, and willingness to care for animals, even going the extra mile when necessary. She would be a great sitter.
Mikayla is great with many kinds of animals. She has always volunteered at shelters and camps as well as attending college to take care of animals. Trained and took care of the animals on the college campus as well. I think she is very qualified for this position and your animals would be in the best care.

I currently have an albino corn snake and a horse as pets, but I can do just about anything from administer oral medication if necessary, crate the animal if needed, to walking, playing and cleaning after. If you have larger livestock needing looking after too I can do that.

Is your animal good with other animals and young children? Any past signs of aggression? If so towards what? Are there any fears or items/people that upset your animal in a manner to cause them to be frightful or uncomfortable? Any information you may provide in order for me to ensure I am able to give the best care possible for your pet.
A typical day
I can play different games with the animals in addition to petting them and loving on them if allowed. On walks we can do short or longer walks depending on the needs of your animal if it leads to a park or open space or wherever it may lead.

Availability
I am going back to school part time, but am available early mornings/afternoons and weekends to provide care for your fur baby. Drop ins, dog-walking or whatever needs your animal may have, I am more than willing to attend to them.
