Pet care experience
My husband and I both grew up with a variety of animals. We have owned fish, cats, dogs, ferrets, and a hedgehog. We have also fostered 5 dogs in the past who have all gone on to live with their forever families. We are comfortable administrating medication and will follow your special requests.

We have hired Mikayla on multiple occasions and she always does a fabulous job for us. Our dog loves her and she makes sure he gets lots loves while we are away, not just the basic care. Mikayla is a true animal lover and I'm confident she loves our dog as if he is her own.
Mikayla used to be my roommate, and she was always so amazing with my dog, Chiko. He was pretty rambunctious when he was younger, but Mikayla always took it in stride. I trust her completely with Chiko and any other dogs I may have in the future because she is gentle and affectionate with all animals. Your fur child will feel right at home with all sorts of snuggles and love when Mikayla dog sits.

We are a fun-loving, dog-loving family! My husband, Kori, and I have three dogs. Dusty, Karl and Ellie. Dusty is a Jack Russell Terrier, Karl is a Corgi and Ellie is a Yorkie. **PLEASE NOTE: Ellie is not spayed yet as she is less than 6 months old** We also have a 1.5 year old son who loves animals. Your furry friend will be allowed on all furniture and has the ability to sleep on our bed if preferred. Any requests you have regarding your pets diet, medications, exercise, or sleep will be fulfilled. Please let us know if your dog has any allergies or a specific schedule. We have a fenced in yard that is great for getting those zoomies out but we also have sidewalks in our neighborhood for walks.

We do have a 2 year old, so a dog who is comfortable with children is a must. Dusty and Karl are fixed and up to date on vaccines. Ellie is up to date on vaccines but is not spayed as she is too young.
A typical day
Your dog will have access to all our dog toys, as well as the yard. After play time, we cuddle on the couch for Netflix and belly rubs!

Availability
We do work full time, however, dogs are let out right before we leave and as soon as we get home. Our own dogs are kennel trained and we prefer dogs who stay in our care to be in a kennel as well. This ensures that they don't get into any mischief in a new place or ingest something they shouldn't. Safety is our number one priority. Friday's I only work half days so the dogs love getting extra one on one time that afternoon!
