Pet care experience
I am currently an Oncology Registered Nurse at UW Hospital in Madison, WI and have been a care taker of people and animals for as long as I can remember. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet in someone else's hands and promise to deliver high-quality, loving care to your pet(s). I have grown up with a Great Danes, Bull Dogs, Terriers, and mixed rescues! I believe dogs deserve lots of love, attention, and kindness, which is what I am committed to giving them. I do well managing behavioral issues as I understand that they often stem from fear so don't worry if your pet is scared of new people, is a nightmare on the leash etc... I'm used to it :)

I have known Mikayla for a very long time and she has always been such a dog lover. As she is a nurse, she has incredible communication skills, so I know that she would easily work well with pet owners and provide them with peace of mind that their dog is in good hands. Mikayla has taken care of my own dog, and she always provided safe, loving care. Mikayla is an awesome human being because she genuinely cares about the well being of others, humans and animals alike. If I were looking for anyone to take care of my beloved dog, it would be her, 110%.
Mikayla is a kind, compassionate, patient, and a responsible person. She is a registered nurse and has dedicated her life's work to helping others. She has owned and raised several pets including dogs (Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Great Dane, Oldie English Bulldogies), guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, and owned and showed her horse (Black Arabian). She is responsible and will make sure that your pet is not only well taken care of, but feels cared for and happy while you are gone. Your pet will look forward to the time spent with Mikayla!

A typical day
I love the outdoors (winter included), a good safe dog park and leash walking around town or nature! We will play fetch, tug-a-war and burn off lots of energy.

As a nurse, I work a very inconsistent schedule and often have full days off during the week that I am hoping to utilize for Rover services.
