Hi there! I am a recent Public Health grad from the College of Charleston. I live downtown and have a very flexible schedule, so I will likely be available if you need someone to take care of your pet (on short-notice, too)! I am a certified EMR, so I am able to adjust to all situations. I am also super active and love getting outside, so I'll take your dog on long, energizing walks! I’ve grown up with a dog of my own and have walked / sat for many others in the past, so I absolutely love all animals. I have a Westie of my own (back home in Connecticut) and I’ve cared for bigger dogs as well such as pit bulls, labs, and golden retrievers-- I am comfortable with pretty much all types and sizes! 🐾

As a loving dog mom, I was worried about finding the perfect sitter for my 2 year old French bulldog, Bernie. After scrolling through Rover and finding Mikayla, I can confidently say that she is a trust worthy caretaker. She has exceeded any expectations I may have had and I am certain that she loves Bernie almost as much as I do! I would and have recommended Mikayla to anyone looking for a great dog sitter. My dog had a great weekend at Mikayla's! She took wonderful care of him. He definitely has some quirks, but Mikayla was mindful of all of them and seemed like Cal had a great time. She was super flexible with pickup and drop off as well, and is a great communicator. 10/10 would recommend!
Mikayla was very sweet and professional. My dog, who can be shy at times, immediately fell in love with her! She went out of her way to meet my dog and I before the scheduled dog walks and asked lots of questions to ensure all of my pup’s needs were more than taken care of! I could tell when I got home from work that my pup had been given a good, long walk! He seemed extra happy when Mikayla walked him those days! Would definitely recommend Mikayla!
Mikayla did a great job!! Came home to a happy puppy. Will definitely have her watch my Ivy again!
