Pet care experience
I love animals and have always felt they are more like family than pets. I have my own dog, Zoey, who loves every animal and human she meets. She enjoys having lots of friends around. I go for walks, play fetch, go to the dog park, and love cuddling with my furry friends. I have experience with dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to St. Bernards. My undergraduate degree in Psychology helps me have a better understanding of dogs and owners needs. I have taken classes from Animal Behavior College for Dog Obedience Training as well. I have been pet sitting for over eight years and have had animals of my own my whole life. My pet sitting business has been featured in the Argus Leader and Parade magazine. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog who loves to make new friends. I keep my home free of clutter and clean to help ensure your pets safety. I have pet gates at the top and bottom of my stairs and in my kitchen. I also have child locks on all of my garbage cans to make sure dogs don't swallow anything they shouldn't. I don't leave food on my counters because I know many dogs who like to counter surf. I also have cameras throughout my home and outside so I always know what the dogs are up to. I have many dog beds and water bowls in my home so your dog always has a comfortable place to lay down and water provided. I do not give out rawhides or anything that could be harmful to your dog. I require meet n greets before booking any new clients, so you can feel safe knowing that your dog will only be around other friendly social dogs. I would like to know how your pup is around cats because I do have one. My cat, Oscar, pretty much sticks to himself but does not like to be chased by other dogs. I would also like to know what makes your dog happy and what your dog is like at home. Every dog is one of a kind so please tell me what makes your dog unique.
A typical day
I typically have 3-10 dogs I'm sitting every day so your dog will have many playmates to choose from. Your dog can enjoy walks, playing fetch, going to the park, and eating homemade treats. I know how important dog enrichment is so I have lick mats, toppls, and snuffle mats. I have plenty of dog toys and bones that your pup can enjoy as well. I also have a kiddy pool outside in the summer time and occasionally take the dogs who love water to the nearby beach. When doing drop in visits or walks I will make sure to follow your care instructions and take the time to get to know your fur baby. I know cats take a little longer to warm up to new people and don’t always love to be smothered with affection, at least my cat doesn’t. So, I will make sure to observe and listen to what your cat wants from me while I am there. Whether I am boarding your fur baby or stopping by your home to check on them, I will treat your pet as if they are my own. Which usually entails about a million kisses a day, lots of belly rubs, and many “good girl/ good boy” comments. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family.

Availability
I have a part time online remote job so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pups and give ample one on one time. I get to pick my own work hours so I can be flexible with drop off/pickup times and drop in visits/walks. Working from home allows me to not have to kennel any of the pups that stay at my house, which means the world to me. My pet sitting business is my full-time job so your pets will always be my number one priority.
