Hey! My name is Mikaela, and I am passionate about animals. As a recent college graduate with a degree in Animal Science, a full time veterinary assistant, and a life-long dog owner, I come with a wealth of knowledge. I spent my college years volunteering at local animal shelters and more recently have been working with the Marshalltown ARL to implement dog training into their adoption program. Animal care is important to me, and as a pet-sitter I am quick to respond and will always send updates. I am the proud human of a very active German Shorthair Pointer, Dixie. Her favorite activities include sleeping in, long walks, runs to the creek, playing 'find the treat,' and her absolute favorite - car rides.
