Pet care experience
I have owned dogs all my life and I simply love dogs of all sizes! My dream Friday night is literally cuddling on the couch with a bunch of dogs. We have two sweet dogs of our own but always love a full house of puppers! Anyone who knows me knows that I am the biggest dog lover around! Your dogs will be welcomed on our furniture and you can be assured they will receive plenty of love and attention while you're away. I also love to walk, run, and hike, and would be happy to take your dogs with me. We have a large dog door so your dogs will have unlimited access to our large, fenced in, grassy yard all day! I send lots of updates and pictures (if you want them) so you can feel comfortable knowing your dogs are in great hands while you're away. I also love to treat pups to DQ dog sundaes or Starbucks puppacinnos (I also make my own)! I have experience caring for puppies all the way up to senior dogs, of all sizes and personality types. Mikaela was a perfect sitter for us. We sorta booked last minute for a weekend trip and she was quick to respond and came over to meet the dogs right away. She was flexible with the drop-in times and sent updates on how it was going. Great communicating which helps ease having to leave the fur children! So happy that we have rebooked for a future trip already!
We were so happy to have found Mikaela. Just moved and new to the area dropping my Ellie off with a new dog watcher was nerve racking. Mikaela made us feel welcome and relaxed during our meet and greet. We received daily updates which made us feel super! Ellie was well cared for and was happy and healthy when we picked her up. She got along very well with Mikaela’s dogs and Ellie loved all the attention she received. We will definitely plan our future trips around Mikaela’s schedule. ?

I would like to know what I can do to make your dog comfortable while you're away. What are his/her favorite activities and treats? Does your dog like to exercise and play with toys? Do they require medications, or have any allergies or health issues? Additionally, I require all dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations (including bordatella, parvo/distemper, and rabies), and I will request a copy of those records upon booking. Please let me know if there any behavioral issues your dog has (such as digging, separation anxiety, etc.) so I can make them comfortable and keep them safe. :)
A typical day
We can go on walks, hikes, runs, and just play in the backyard! We also have a kiddie pool we can set up if your dog likes to swim. :) We also love to cuddle up and just relax with pups inside.
