Pet care experience
I had an older lab/golden mix for about 5 years and then last year got a black lab as a puppy and trained him well. I’ve also been a dog sitter for neighbors and friends while they have had busy weekends or vacations. Though I’ve never been too keen on bathing, we always get plenty of exercise and (owner permitting) a few treats :)

I live in an apartment, but we have a fenced in area for dogs as well as plenty of walking paths around the neighborhood. Two kids (3&5) who are big animal lovers, but have been raised to respect the dogs’ boundaries. One black lab with me currently (Bear, 1 year) who is great with other dogs and loves play dates. Open to tailoring every experience to what the owner needs for their own fur babies. My lab is currently not crated during the day, but is good for short periods of time when I’m out a quick errand. Anything that dogs might get into are always put away before leaving and the last thing I do before leaving or going to bed is make sure the dogs are relieved and comfortable.

I am not very experienced with medication or special needs, but am open to helping if specific instructions can be provided. I want to make sure I can accommodate what you need while making the best experience for your dog.
A typical day
We have a fenced in dog park at my apartment that we’ll get in multiple times per day to stretch our legs. There are walking paths around the neighborhood that we can cruise around or dog parks around the city that we can go to. My lab is open to playing all day, every day with any new pals:)

Availability
I currently work from home, but there are occasional days I’m required in person in the office. I’m open to dog sitting while home during the work day and boarding/walking/potty breaks on my free weekends!
