Pet care experience
I’ve cared for animals of all shapes and sizes for most of my life. I was raised by animal lovers, and the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree! I have a bachelors degree in Animal Sciences and am currently working towards a masters degree in Animal Sciences. I have been training dogs/puppies & horses for around 4 years and absolutely love working with animals. I’m hoping to utilize rover to make a little extra cash while widening my experience with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds.

I have a 3 year old Doodle rescued from CMHS and a 1 year old Corgi rescued from UMDR. They are very well behaved and friendly with other animals. I also foster for a local shelter, so they are very accustomed to showing new friends around their home. Client’s will be treated like family at my house! I will gladly work to maintain any training or rules your dogs is familiar with, or help to accomplish any training goals you are working towards. We can always chat about your pup and make a plan that will work best for everyone!

A typical day
My personal dogs LOVE to be outside, so pups that hang out with us will get a lot of time playing in the yard with toys. We also love to have frozen yogurt kongs on our lazy afternoons. Living on a farm, it is a great opportunity for lots of hikes around the fields and creeks.

Availability
I am currently a full time student, but always carve out time for my pups, chickens and ponies! When helping to care for your animals, I would be available most evenings and weekends. I am set-up to do overnight sleep overs for those longer trips as well. If your pup needs to crash with me, I would make sure he/she is let out before work, at lunch and after work. If you have a special scenario and are worried about matching my schedule, just reach out and we can try to make things work!
