Pet care experience
I'm a dobermom and cat lady! I've lived with pets my entire life, have been pet sitting professionally for the last 5 years, and recently decided to share my love of animals with the Rover community. I'm lucky enough to have about 90% of my job being done from my home, meaning I have lots of free time to spend with your pet! I like long walks around the neighborhood, making fresh dog treats, and hanging out in the backyard, which I’m sure your pet does, too! I am familiar with a lot of restricted breeds, having worked primarily with doberman pinschers and German shepherds in the past. I am also familiar with cat care, living with a beautiful Turkish Van. I am the creator and organizer of the Doberman Gang, a local group in Northeast Florida for Doberman owners and lovers. We host meet-ups at various dog parks and breweries. To make this go smoothly on our first “date,” I ask every client to do a quick meet and greet. I want to make sure your pet(s) and I are compatible! For drop-in visits and walking visits, I am respectful of your home and your privacy. So the majority of all dog visits are spent outdoors (weather permitting!). Otherwise, I stick to the routine that you and your animal have created.
Information Mika W. would like to know about your pet
At this time I can only provide care to non-aggressive pets that are up to date on all vaccines and medications. Not that I ever expect to use it, but I ask every client for veterinary information for emergency purposes.
A typical day
Walking around neighborhood parks, giving out treats galore, and lounging in the sun or playing fetch in the backyard are my go-to doggie activities! For kitties, I like to do active/stimulating play with toys, giving them the space they need to get comfortable with me, and, of course, spoiling them with treats!

Availability
I am available M-F morning and early afternoon for pet care needs. I am not usually available on the weekends as I enjoy traveling with my family! In rare instances I may be able to board overnight in my home or host daycare in my home, though most of my clients and experience comes from simply stopping by for stimulating play, a walk, and ear scritchens :)
