Hey there – my name is Mickayla, and I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your fur family. I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with any type of fur friend. Some people have told me I’m a dog whisperer at times… I have yet to prove them wrong. I will love on your fur friend with everything I have. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I have three dogs of my own & foster cats. My knowledge of animal care is vast and I will treat your pets just as I would my own. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, gerbils and even the big guys like cows and horses. I have worked as a veterinary assistant, ranch hand and professional pet sitter which gives me the right resources to provide top notch care for your fur family! I also have my pet health, CPR and Emergency first aid certificate. I love having the opportunity to meet new fur friends through Rover. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy!

Mickayla did awesome walking my dogs, they looked like they had tons of fun and were very tired after the walk. She is so sweet and good with animals, I highly recommend her to walk your fur baby!
Mickayla has an incredible love for animals of all types, I think her most fond choice would be dogs as she has 3 of her own rescue dogs at home. In speaking with Mickayla she has fostered many cats as well. Mickayla is a 4th year veterinary student at UofS so her knowledge of animal behaviour, proper nutrition, exercise and those good old scratches in all the right places are part of her every day life. She is a responsible care giver, arrives on time, is pleasant and respectful. She always take due diligence to make sure my home has been locked upon arrival and departure of our dog walk session. Our dog Nanook always gets a fantastic walk/play time when Mickayla takes her out - I think she knows when it’s Mickayla day, she is our favourite Rover walker!
Mickayla is awesome! She is famous in our neighborhood and is known as the “dog walking lady”. She walks her own dog multiple times a day and became the talk of the town quickly when neighbours noticed how often she would be seen out walking her route. She started walking my dog Teddy and he adores her. We always know Teddy will be well taken care of when he is in Mickayla’s care. She is polite, reliable and her love for animals is admirable. I would recommend Mickayla’s services to any pet owner.

I am currently a working student. I work part time as a swimming coach and am studying medicine. My schedule is very flexible and I am willing to accommodate any type of booking. Your pets would not be left alone for more than 4 hours.
