**As of May 1, 2024 we will not be accepted new bookings due to renovations. ** We are Michelle and Courtney and between us have more than twenty years experience working with animals. As pet owners ourselves, we strive to create a safe, fun, and interactive experience for the pets that stay in our care. Our thoughts were, how would we want our animals cared for if we were away on vacation? We hope to create that experience at Blueberry Lane.

This was our first time leaving our dog and it went great! She was with Courtney and Michelle for 9 nights and they kept us updated everyday. They sent lots of pictures and let us how she was doing all the time. We enjoyed our vacation knowing our dog happy! We would definitely use these ladies again when we vacation!

Michelle and Courtney were excellent with our two dogs. They made us feel at ease leaving them in there hands for a night, sending photo's occasionally to update us on how they were doing. Our one dog is on antibiotics and they had no issues administering these for us. Would definitely book them here again if we needed someone to watch them for us.
Amazing stay! Our dogs seemed so happy here. They had other dogs to play with, and lots of attention. They got to play outside. And we had regular updates and photos. So grateful!

We are located in Mount Uniacke, on 7 acres of tree and wetlands. We now have a large fenced in enclosure connected to a former horse stable, where dogs can play and enjoy the outdoors while leash free and supervised. While out in our fenced in space and need a break, we have created a cooling off and relaxation space inside the former horse stable with lots of water and bedding. Our main floor of our home is doggie friendly, with lots of cozy beds and toys.

Let us know if your animal requires any special care, specific diet? Allergies? Fears or anxiety towards certain things? Good off/on leash? We are usually able to accommodate or problem solve so that your pup will have an enjoyable stay.
A typical day
We are very outdoorsy. During nice days, We spend most of the time outside enjoying the weather, taking the dogs down to the dock/waterfront and around the property or out in our fenced enclosure for playtime. When weather isn't great, we stay on the main floor and have playtime inside with shorter walks around the property and area.

Availability
During our years experience, we have worked with animals of various special needs such as senior dog care, animals with mental & behavioural issues such as Pica, Epilepsy, arthritis, reactive disorder, food intolerance/allergies, compulsive disorder (OCD), mobility disorders, and anxiety disorder (separation anxiety) to name a few! We are also familiar with how to administer medication.
