Pet care experience
We have 15 acres of land surrounded by a wildlife preserve with miles of trails. We have a small farm with 2 boxers, 3 horses and chickens. We have a 12 x 18 covered kennel and a fenced in grass area for your dog to play. I am an at home mom with three children (8,12 & 14). Your dog will have loads of fun with us. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs my entire life. I have shown dogs in both obedience and breed classes. I have been boarding dogs on and off for over 17 years. Meet my pets We have 3 horses and 10 chickens About my yard We have 15 acres nearly 1/2 mile in the woods. We have a 12' X 18'covered kennel as well as a good sized fenced in area off the back of our house. The fenced in area is grass. Your dog will have access to it's own "doggie pool" if you would like for those hot days. My experience administering medication Yes, I am fine with meds.

Michelle was amazing. And I don't think she knew what she was getting into. On her 2nd visit, one of our pups ended up with the runs. The whole time. As bad as we felt for our poor little guy, we felt bad for her too. Michelle went above and beyond, cleaning up the messes daily and even made him rice and hamburger to soothe his tummy. Thank you so much Michelle!!
Nahla had a great time with Michelle during her stay! Michelle's Jack Russel's played with her all day and kept her very busy. She also enjoyed all of the the walks on the farm that she went on and made friends with all of the farm animals :)
Michelle took fabulous care of my Frankie! I highly recommend her.
My very timid dog Kya had a 1-night visit to acclimate her for a longer stay in April. Michelle was wonderful and patient making sure she was as comfortable as possible :)!

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Our home is surrounded by 127 acres of nature preserve (you can google Willow Brook and Fleetwood Farms Preserve - Pembroke for details of the preserve). There are miles of beautiful trails. Your dog's sleeping arrangement We have a room downstairs where our dogs sleep at night. If your dog prefers to sleep in a crate, we have them. I also make fleece beds for your dog to sleep on. Time I'll spend with your dog We are an outside family. We spend most of our waking hours outside. Your dog will have PLENTY of attention. Just let us know if you'd like pictures of your dog sent to you while you are away.
