Special skills: I am energetic and into fitness so I will make sure to keep pets active when they are with me. I basically grew up on a farm and believe that pets need as much exercise as possible. We always had multiple cats and dogs at one time but we were careful to make sure all were taken care of properly. My dad was really great at training our animals which is why animals often listen to my techniques. We often swam in the creek and pond with our pets but never had a problem with our pets being disobedient. Lastly, I am a teacher so I am looking forward to inviting pets into our home so as to prepare my children for their future pets. It is a great way for me to teach them how to train and love a pet but also important for them to see how much work goes into having a pet. I definitely love all animals but have a soft spot for dogs. I am hoping a position with Rover will curb my “puppy-fever” for awhile since I plan to treat all animals as my own.
