Pet care experience
I have 3 kids who adore pups and loves playing with them. We had our 15 year old miniature Collie pass several years ago. Because of that I took a year break from Boarding pups. But my home was too empty and my boys missed having a pet. I thought this would be best as we get to spend time and play with all types of breeds and mixes. So, I would love to care for your pups! I treat every pup as if they were my own. We have parks and a prairie path right down the road and we love going outside several times a day. I’m excited to care for your pup and give him/her a great vacation! My kids love playing with the pups and I enjoy them wearing out my kids!! I listen to your requests if there are any rules your dogs need to follow, schedules that need to be maintained, or training that needs to be continued. But mainly, I want them to have fun in my home and hopefully feel like a 2nd home for them.

Really enjoyed the familial setting our little guy Paolo was able to enjoy while we were away. And the other pooches he got to interact with as well! We felt totally comfortable while away and knew he was in good hands with Michelle and fam. We’ll definitely keep her on our short list for any future boarding needs.
We’re very happy with the care our dog received while in Michelle’s care. She provided daily updates with pictures. We had the peace of mind to know he was in good hands so we could enjoy our time away. Thank you Michelle!
Michelle was amazing!! First time leaving our dog and she made us feel so comfortable, sent lots of pictures, kept us updated, and loved our Pepper like her own! So glad we found her!

I have a fenced in yard. I will go for walks weather permitting. I like to stick as close to the regular routine at home so pups are as comfortable as possible.

I'm pretty relaxed when it comes to pets in my home. So, if you don't allow them on beds, furniture, etc...please let me know ahead of time so I don't mess up what they have been trained to do (or not do). Also, please let me know how often and when your pup(s) go outside as well as their feeding schedule. Please bring any blankets or toys that may make them more comfortable right from the start. Most pups feel pretty comfortable right away but I do know some have anxiety. So, things from home usually help :). I will not take any aggressive pups. I also don’t accept breeds that are known to be aggressive. Nothing against certain breeds but need to keep kids and dogs 100% safe. So if your pup has ever shown signs of aggression towards other dogs, kids, or people in general, I will not be able to care for your fur baby. Other than that I look forward to watching your pup(s)!!
A typical day
I take pups for walks at the park and the prairie path behind the soccer field. I have plenty of treats (if they are allowed) and plenty of toys. They will be easily entertained by my 3 kids! My kids have a natural instinct of being great pup sitters. They will always have plenty of laps to lay on and sticks to fetch.

Availability
I work from home, I’m here all the time. Plenty of potty breaks and if they are left alone it’s for a quick errand. At most, a 2 hour baseball game.
