We have been trusted hosts with Rover/Dogvacay for years and have loved the opportunity to love and care for all kinds of different pups. We have a "doggie-cam" to be able to monitor the pups activities while we are away. We are able to view, listen, and even talk to them through the monitor. We have found it to be an incredibly useful resource to soothe not only our worries, but also the dog owners. We have a very large, secure, fenced yard with lots of room to romp around or just relax on the deck or in the shade under any number of shade trees. We have had dogs all our lives and are very comfortable with all kinds and breeds of dogs. Bossy dog? No problem! Shy and quiet dog? No problem! Puppy? No problem! Old dog with some special needs? No problem! We also have a lightweight and portable ramp for dogs with mobility issues to be able to navigate the 4 steps into our house easier. We love and care for all kinds of dogs! About this sitter: I love all the different personalities of the pups we watch - they get all the love and attention they can stand. Why I love dog sitting We have had dogs all of our lives. All of our dogs have come from rescue groups. We frequently take care of dogs for friends and family - all sizes, shapes, and breeds. We love them all! Also, we LOVE puppies, but due to the extra TLC and attention a puppy needs, we do have a nightly puppy surcharge; $10 extra per night for any puppies 12 months and under. Meet my pets Our pup absolutely LOVES the company of other dogs. She will play when they want to play or just chill in the shade or on the deck or on one of the many dog beds in the house. About my yard We have a large back yard that is completely secure with 6' fence. The dogs love sniffing around, laying under shade tree, sunning themselves on the deck, or just following us around the yard being great "helpers".

People often say that their dog has had a wonderful time at the kennel or sitters house when they were gone on vacation, and you have to stop and wonder how do they know? Our dog Gilly HAD a wonderful time at Michelle's place! Michelle sent daily videos and pictures of Gilly running in her large fenced backyard. Gilly had the "zoomies" in the snow:), she played with Michelle's two dogs, who were so accepting of Gilly. We didn't feel one ounce of guilt while we were gone on our vacation because we knew Gilly was safe and having a blast. I think Gilly really misses being at Michelle's after we picked her up. We have known Michelle over the years and have never been disappointed with the loving care she has provided to our pups. Thanks again, Michelle!
Michelle was great to work with, she took excellent care of our lab, Link. I wasn’t expecting, but did appreciate the messages and photos to let me know Link was doing well. We will definitely share her name with friends seeking dog care and be a repeat customer!
Zoey loves to go to Michelle's home. It really gives us a worry free vacation when we know she is at Michelle's. Michelle will send pictures of Zoey and she always looks so happy and enjoys her own vacation from us. I can't say enough about Michelle. This place is outstanding.
I can’t say enough good things about Michelle. This was the first time my pup was away from home and he seemed to love every minute of it. She sent videos of him playing tag with the other dog, she was able to clip most of his nails (which no one else has been able to) and she was very loving to my dog. They had a great outdoor space for him to play and I felt worry-free the whole time I was away on vacation. Thank you Michelle! We’ll see you again on our next trip.

We like to have an idea what your dog's likes and dislikes are. Is the dog afraid of thunderstorms? Does he/she try to escape? Is he/she food, toy, treat, or bed aggressive? Is he/she sensitive to loud voices? Does he/she like to run, swim, fetch, lay around? Is your pup food motivated?
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks When we walk the pups, we head down our long gravel driveway and down the country roads. When we are home, we like to spend time in the yard and the dogs will hang out with us when we are outside. We also throw the frisbee or balls in the back yard for a little more exercise and fun. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Visiting dogs sleep on any number of dog beds or the couch on the main floor of the house. If there are not any incontinence issues, or other behavior issues (i.e. chewing) the dogs are free to roam about the house and sleep wherever they want on the main floor.

I currently work in Stillwater, but my partner is retired. It's rare that someone's not around with the pups. We have dog-door options as well that can either lead out to the back yard when we are home or to a secure "pen" when we are not home, but that allows them to get some fresh air and still be contained and have safe access back inside the house.
