Dedicated to your furbaby’s care!

Pet care experience

I've grown up with both dogs and cats, and I am a current volunteer with a cat rescue. I've been volunteering with cats since 2016 and cat/dog sitting for friends and acquaintances since 2017. That being said, I specialize in cat sitting and all that comes with it: brushing, nail trimmings, and even pill-giving. Besides making sure an animal's physical needs are met, I take great care in making sure animals are emotionally fulfilled! I always make sure to take the extra time to play with their favorite toy, give extra pets, or walk an extra block or two. When I'm taking care of an animal, it's all about them. I love each and every animal I've cared for, whether it's a personal pet, a client's pet, or a shelter cat that I'm caring for. I work a professional full time job, but enjoy spending most of my evenings and weekends at home. This frees up my evenings and weekends to spend quality time with your pet. When entering a home, I make sure to open the door cautiously to ensure no animal runs out of the home without first being walk-ready. I always take extra time to make sure animals in my care are comfortable and know they are safe and loved.

Michelle was great! She seemed very friendly over messages and was very responsive. She came over for a visit with my cat, Juniper, while I was away. She took some super cute pictures of Juniper on her visit. Juniper had a pretty full food dish and plenty of water when I got home too. I highly recommend Michelle. She did a great job!

Last year I managed a satellite location of Ten Lives Club, where Michelle was one of the volunteers. Ten Lives is a non-profit cat shelter where rescued cats would come to be adopted out to good homes. Within days of meeting Michelle, it was obvious to me that she was a dedicated, compassionate person. Michelle would spend most of her time socializing the kitties. She sought out the most shy and troubled cats who needed the most love and attention. More times than not, she would stay much later than her scheduled time, spending time with them. Michelle is an amazing person who loves animals and has helped dozens of them. Any pet would be in very good hands with her.

Safety, trust & environment

I make sure to be careful when entering and exiting a home to make sure no animal gets out. I also make sure to keep the door locked during a drop in or walk to further ensure the safety of your home and your animals. I will always do a meet and greet for first time clients and for any new animal additions to make sure I am aware of all of their needs, and as a chance to meet the animal before you are away. I always want to make sure you and your furbaby feel completely comfortable while you are away. I do not currently offer boarding or daycare services, but if you leave nearby, I do have a fully fenced in backyard if you would like for your pet to have a safe environment to run and play in. Any visits will be 100% supervised.

Information Michelle A. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know beforehand your pet's energy levels so I can make sure they get all their necessary exercise in. Favorite places to be pet and favorite toys are necessary information to help make it seem like you never left!

A typical day

For cat sitting, your kitty can expect to enjoy treats (if allowed and in moderation), along with their favorite course of play time and quiet time for snuggles. Dogs can expect to be taken out around the neighborhood for some much needed exercise and undivided attention.
