Pet care experience
I got my first dog at 13. I trained her and even showed her at the San Mateo County Fair with my 4-H club (with mixed results). I've learned a LOT since then and have watched dogs ranging from 8 weeks to 15 years.
Reviews
My pups LOVE Michelle. We gave it no thought to leave for an entire week and leave our doggies (who are like our children) with Michelle. Our home is left in great condition and our dogs are left happy and healthy. In the past, when we left our pups with other sitters or in boarding facilities our pups would have anxiety or apparent stress, Michelle folds right into their routines and truly makes their lives comfortable. This makes our vacation WONDERFUL knowing our favorite furry friends at home are happy... THANK YOU MICHELLE!!!
We love Michelle! It’s so great to go in a trip and know your pups and home are loved. She updates often and our trip is always stress free knowing our most favorite four legged friends are well cared for. She really is the best.
Always a great stay with Michelle... My doggies love her SOOOO much!! Our place is always orderly when we return and while we are away we get awesome & relevant updates.
Very competent, wonderful, trustworthy sitter. My dog loved her.

I love dogs of all ages, but have a soft spot for seniors as I've had a few myself in the past few years. As a dog owner, I know how important it is to know that your best friend is in good hands. I'm responsible, punctual, and dedicated to making sure you come home to happy, well cared-for dogs.

First things first: what makes your dog the most happy in life? Please schedule a meet and greet at least one week before your departure date. I'll address questions, considerations and your dog's daily routine when we meet. Dogs must be on flea and tick medication. I do not board or house sit escape artists. Things I'll want to know include health history, your dog's history with boarding, daycare and/or sitters, favorite treats, barking habits and any behavioral sensitivies or reactivity that you're aware of.
A typical day
As a Peninsula native, I know the best spots to take your dog. My goal is to get the dogs I watch tuckered out for dinner and a solid night's sleep. If your dog knows me well and has good recall, these spots include: Barkley Field, Stulstaft Park, Pulgas Ridge and possibly Mori Point or Fort Funston. Otherwise Seal Point Park, Red Morton Park, Burton Park and fenced-in dog parks (with your permission) will be our field trip sites. I have an SUV with canvas seat covers in the back specifically for transporting dogs.

I've fostered dogs for Copper's Dream and Doggie Protective Services. I've also been a member of Peninsula Humane Society's auxiliary committee for their annual fundraising gala since 2017. I work in and office 2 days/week and can have dogs over on Thursdays and Fridays.
