Michelle was great! She visited Casper before the date to learn about Casper's needs. She checked in and sent photos. He was a very happy pup because he was taken care of.

The true test of a pet sitter is how the pets react when their family returns. While our dogs were excited to see us they were not stressed or clingy. This only happens when they feel safe and comfortable with their sitter. Our dogs have a number of health issues and Michelle was able to medicate them and ensure they ate and exercised as appropriate for their conditions. The dogs loved her staying here and ...

Michelle's Loving Pet Care

I hold a special place in my heart for all animals. As a child, I watched my mom while she worked at a canine shelter and I have volunteered at local animal shelters ever since. Most recently, I worked at a professional day care and boarding facility for cats and dogs for three years. While in this position I managed feedings, administered medications, gave walks and baths, reinforced good behaviors, chaperoned play time one-on-one and ...

What Michelle would like to know about your dog

I do not have any breed preferences but I will not care for a pet considered feral, a pet with high aggression toward people, or a pet weighing a substantial amount without any proper leash training. I am a non-smoker and would prefer a non-smoking household. Before sitting for your pet I'd like to know:

-What commands do you use? (so I stay consistent with your training)
-Do they get free roam of the house at night or are they crate trained?
-How often do they go outside? Do they have a favorite walking route?
-What is their feeding/snack schedule?
-Do they take any medications?
-Are they allowed on the furniture?
-Do they have a favorite toy?
-Anything else you'd like to tell me about them and their routines!

I can also care for your cat or other pets (e.g. guinea pigs, fish, etc.) and I am willing to work with you on pricing. Let me know what seems fair and I can customize a quote!
