In high school, my field of study was Veterinary Science. I had an internship with the Humane Society. I went on to work at a boarding facility, an animal shelter, and also foster dogs over the course of the next 5 years.

Michelle is the one-stop shop for animal care. Dogs, cats, with scales or not, she puts the time and effort to care for each animal in a careful individualized fashion. She's volunteered with the local animal shelters countless times and is always happy to meet your furry companion.

I live in an apartment complex with a dog park nearby. It is a short drive to have long walks on the bike path. My roommate's dog Flynn is a good boy and friendly with other dogs.

With any animal, I'd like to know if they're good with other dogs, cats, and kids or not, if they're leash trained, and if they like to chase anything. Not that this is an issue, but on walks I like to be prepared for any unexpected interaction. For example: my roommates dog tries to pounce on bikers while I walk him. It was helpful to know this so I could reel him in and maintain control while the biker passed. Additionally, please let me know of any special needs your pet might have so I can be mindful of it during walk/play time.
A typical day
I love to go on walks and I've lived in the area for 4 years, so I know some great spots!! As someone who's worked at a boarding facility for pets, I'm sure I can figure out a game to stimulate and tire out your dog or cat.

I'm currently working full time but still have lots of free time to take care of pups! My schedule is usually 8-4 on any given day of the week with 2 days off per week (day of the week off changes). *** I work in an area with no cell service! This is why my response time may not look too great. If it is Saturday-Thursday, I am able to reply by 4:30 at the latest ***
