I have had animal companions of various kinds since I was a kid, mostly dogs and cats. Our first dog was a purebred Samoyed named Mikki. Loved that dog. My last set of pets included three cats and a lovable black lab that I took on when a friend had to move. Eventually I was able to return them to her when she found a place that allowed pets, three years later. I miss them. The point is, I'd love a chance to love some pets again, even if they're not mine. Other than the money I wish to make for my other goals, I love the exercise they provide, the unconditional love ("Feed me! Oh goody I love you!") and the ability to give them more of what they give us. The last time I was dog sitting I was also house sitting for a friend while she traveled abroad for a month. She had a rather temperamental dog (who has since passed :( ) and three cats, one of whom was an outdoor cat. We had a great time. That dog loved going on a car ride! I'd take him to the dog park or down to Ben Burton just down the street. I currently have no other employment and am literally available any time. My only restriction is transportation: that's one of the aforementioned personal goals. But if you're within three miles of a bus stop, I can get there.
