Michelle has been a Certified Professional Dog Trainer since 2016. Prior to earning her designation, she volunteered for over 10 years with Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) and has helped train and socialize dogs for mobility impaired clients. Michelle also enjoys teaching beginner and intermediate puppy classes. Michelle is passionate about dogs helping people. Michelle and her dog Dawson, are a pet therapy team with Pets and Friends and visit Residents at a Care facility. Pets and Friends is an organization that provides and promotes the healing comfort and companionship of animals. Michelle has participated in (A.A.R.F.) Animal Ambassadors for Reading Fun where kids practice reading in front of a dog knowing that they will not be judged if they make a mistake. Michelle works with clients using positive reinforcement techniques in order to build a trusting and respectful relationship between them and their dog.
