Life is so much more enjoyable when you have a furry friend!! Every dog I see I instantly want to love on and take home with me. Unfortunately, my work schedule (details below) doesn't allow me to have a dog of my own so I try to fill my life with animals any way that I can. I volunteer at the local SPCA and have a history of fostering. Through the SPCA I have taken an animal handling class so I can ensure that your dog will be treated with the utmost care and respect. I also have experience with caring for a special needs dog. I fell in love with my beloved pointer while volunteering at the local animal shelter in high school; a few weeks into having him we realized he was deaf! The shelter offered to take him back (WHAT) and apologized profusely, we loved him so much and couldn't understand the stigma around deaf dogs. We did extensive research on how to care for a deaf dog and here we are 6 years later and he's an irreplaceable part of the family. My work schedule gives me Wed-Sat off so I have plenty of time to care for your animal during those days. Being a young professional the majority of my friends are also without pets, so anyone your dog comes in contact with in my home will have unending love and affection to give!
